Easter Sunday

Today was terrific.

Easter is one of my favorite holidays.

We spent the morning and afternoon at my parents.

Had an egg hunt were I used my dress as a makeshift basket for my eggs as I ran around frantically. 

Partook of some heavenly goodness for lunch.

And spent some time with my favorite nephew and the rest of the family.

Couldn't get enough of his monkey bum.

I'm a wee bit in love with this child.

My brothers are growing up so fast. Can't believe this one is getting so old.

Tomorrow we are headed off to Cabo for a week.

I'm looking so forward to more time with family.

some birthday love

Today is my cousin Nick's birthday.

Happy Birthday.

Last night a couple of us took him out to dinner at a place called Porcupine Grill.

It was delish.

After we went bowling.

can't see it too well (top left), but there was a fantastic sunset last night.

wedding weekend

Friday night we went to a family rehearsal dinner for Dallin's cousin at Spaghetti Factory.

It was really nice to see some familiar faces from his side and get to know them a little bit better.

Saturday we were able to attend his cousin's sealing in the Salt Lake Temple and it was super neat.

We were so excited to go and remember our special day only five months ago.

I love the temple.

After the sealing we snuck over to the Wild Grape (same place we had our luncheon) and ate a late breakfast.

It was delicious.

That night we went down to Alpine for his cousin's dinner reception at a place called the Blue Lemon.

Ah my gracious, the food was scrump-didily-umptious.

Can't complain. Great weekend with some wedding love and great food.

instant potatoes

The other night Dallin decided he was going to make dinner.

 He started boiling some water because he wanted to make potatoes and instant are way easier to make than real. So he went to work. 

I told him he needed to boil some water and then just add the pearls. 

He was completely shocked and started giggling when he added them to the hot water. 

He couldn't believe how fast the potatoes were fluffy and light. 

It was the best thing he'd seen all week.

much needed

My goodness, I am adoring this wonderful weather.

I'm hoping it chooses to stick around for awhile.

Spent some time with Lacey and Gabe out in the sun yesterday.

It was superb.  

I sure love this little munchkin.

Dallin enjoyed the sun as well.

I found him riding my little brother's bike.

Summer here we come.
