Filthy Sickness

Today I got hijacked by a head cold and have not been able to shake it.  My head feels like it contains a raging sledgehammer and nails are spilling out my ears.  Please bless the heavens that I wake up feeling one-hundred percent better.  Dallin has taken such good care of me and I'm so grateful for his patience when I complain about my nose drips.

Right about now I really miss cabin trips. My family has a cabin about two hours away right by Strawberry reservoir and it is luscious.  The weather is always perfect, nice and cool.  I always eat my entire face off with dutch oven masterpieces by my madre.  We go on hikes, watch tv, play tons of games, eat some more grub, have a fire down at the fire pit, roast some good ol' weenies and marshmellers.  Go on some four-wheeler runs, go fishing on the "party barge" and swing on the some ridiculous swings.  I cannot get enough.  I would love to venture up there in this quadrant in time.  But, I'm gonna have to wait.  There is too much snow to get up into the lot. Bummer right in the bum.  I can't wait for summer.

miss

I miss my cousin Marissa. She is currently serving a mission and I can't get enough of her letters. It's Christmas morning when I open our little mail cubby and see a letter decorated with stickers. (Her letters always have them.) She is hilarious, and Dallin and I are always left rolling on the floor. She is doing so awesome and I am so dang proud of her.

Dallin went to Denver this morning. Yes he returns tomorrow afternoon. I've missed him since he walked out the door. He is going to an awards banquet for Dex. I am so proud of him and how hard he works at his job. I'm so lucky. 

Ha. I get such a kick out of this photo. I just love it. These men are all so great. 

I can't wait for tomorrow.

Struggles

Holy moly, I have had so many troubles with my last blog. So, I decided to start fresh. We are still completely addicted to LOST. It's fantastic. Our minds are continually blown each time we watch. One more season to go. I don't know what we're gonna do with ourselves when we've finished. 

Dallin and I made a last minute trip to St. George and a day in Vegas this weekend. It was a complete and utter blast. We ate, slept, watched Lost, ate some more, shopped, and soaked up the nice weather. I can't wait to make many more road trips with my hubs.

I sure hope he knows how much I love him.
