our weekend

We had a pretty scrumptious weekend if I do say so myself.

Friday night, I galloped at the chance to go wedding dress shopping with Marissa.
She found the one, and I think it's perfect.

Saturday afternoon, my mom and I went to my second cousin's bridal shower in Alpine.
I consider Kandace more like a cousin.
Couldn't be happier for her.
Weddings all around.

That night, Dall and I hit up a birthday dinner for Shartel at Toscanos.
It was such a blast to catch up and giggle all through the night.

To top off the night, Sharesa and Ian got engaged!
Yeah baby!
We love them, and can't wait for them to get hitched.
I've loved getting to know Sharesa over the last few months.
And I just adore her.

Sunday night, I enjoyed watching the Oscars over at my parent's house.

Chili in a pyrex measuring cup.
That's how we eat soup.
Handle. Hello.

Jackson's new specs.
I enjoy them.

Off to class. Ta ta.

a couple of admirable nights

Our Valentine's was swell last week.
We exchanged a few items expressing our mushy love, went to dinner, and saw a flickerooni.
Couldn't ask for a stitch more.

Our romantic photo at the gas station.

And last night Ian and Sharesa invited us to a Jazz game.
It was a riot.
I don't remember the last time I've laughed so much and so hard.
The Jazz did lose. Not surprised.
But it actually was quite close and half decent to watch.
They could have cart-wheeled out there for all I care.
The company and concessions were top notch.

I had to remind myself to watch the game and not people watch.

One size fits all?
Alright.
I was so scared to take a bite and spill the top scoop glob on the row below us.

Ian freaked out when he caught this ball.
Sharesa and I were dying because he later gave it to some boys below us he called "little ninos."

We were thrilled to eat some junk.
It was a wonderful night, thank you guys.

at last

My best friend/cousin is engaged.

Last night when she called me, I laughed, smiled, screamed for joy, and cried.
Yes, I'm a baby.
I was driving home by myself, and I just started crying like a little baby child.
SO incredibly thrilled for her.
I love Marissa like a sister.
She is one of the best people I know, and she found herself a keeper.
Her and Chase will be together for eternity at last.

Can't wait to see them start their married life together.
Knowing them, it's gonna be a party.

photos of late

Life lately consists of school and work.
With a few treats thrown into the mix.
I live for sweets.

Trips to get donuts with my dad have been happening on occasion.

Ice cream ventures as well.
Dad knows what's up.
First time I did this after we got married, Dallin was stunned.
I truly didn't understand what the big deal was.
I thought everyone did it.
Pour the chocolate syrup and milk right in the carton.
No need to dirty a bowl.
Not ashamed.

Went bowling with Ben and Jess last week.
Had a ball with those two.
It definitely was a treat to my week.
