Until next year...

As promised, another cabin post. Not just any old trip, but our last for the year. It was a bitter sweet weekend. As I get older, I appreciate this little piece of heaven more and more. My fondest memories with my family usually take place at this little home away from home in the mountains.

We had quite the adventure searching for for our "spot" with the deep blanket of fog over the lake. Couldn't see much of anything around us. Kept our eyes peeled for land and oncoming boats. And we made it! Thanks to google maps.

Mom just proudly modeling her diet coke. I will gloat and proudly say I caught 2 of the 3 fish we pulled in. Not the most successful trip, but well worth it. I don't blame the fish, it was frigid.

We had such a nice time and like usual, it flew by. Can't wait for the many years to come!

making up for lost time.

I am a slacker. This lil baby blog has been nicely placed on the back burner of my life. Time for me to fix my laziness and update this joint.

A few weeks back Dallin's mom surprised me with a graduation dinner. I was so flattered and surprised. Dallin joined in on the surprise and graciously gifted me a fancy new purse. I was so overwhelmed by their love and happy to finally close this chapter of my life.

We swung by Ian and Sharesa's on Labor Day morning for an afternoon in Park City. Everyone in the state of Utah had the same idea. We still enjoyed running around with the Bedingfields and will take it any chance we get.
Later that night we met up at my parent's for a BBQ and you know how we enjoy those gatherings.

Spent some time with Ryker and the new JCWs this month. Also some good quality time wife Marissa and Capri.

I was spoiled to the brim on my birthday by both of our families and Dallin. How good it is to be loved by those people. Went to lunch with my parents and D's mom had us over for dinner. I can't believe I'm 25. Everyone thinks I'm crazy, it just feels so much older than 24. Probably just me.

The last item on the agenda is wrapping up summer. I blinked and it is over. We are grilling up a bunch before it's too cold to sit outside and we freeze our appendages off.

We made our last trip up to the cabin. I never blog about that :) just you wait. I will be back for that recap. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
