6 months

Finn will be 7 months next week, so I better get going on his 6 month update!

AGE: 6 months

WEIGHT: 20 lbs. (80% percentile)

HEIGHT: 30.5 inches (over 100%)

SIZE: 18 month clothing.

HAIR: It's coming in! I also think it is lightening up.

EYES: Dark

SLEEPING: So we slayed the teething dragon. However, Finn and I woke Christmas night and we both felt like garbage. Stuffy nose, fever, moodiness, and now a left over cough. So sleep has been hit and miss. He will be sleeping soundly and all of sudden a cough episode shakes him awake. It is joyous, especially when you feel ill yourself. Now Dallin has joined our club. Sick babies are no joke. I am praying that he will get back to his good sleeping habits, once he kicks his cough. Fingers crossed.

EATING: Likes veggies way more than fruits! He was eating his cereal and some solids like a champ until his cold hit. He just didn't have much of an appetite. No bueno. Hopeful we get back to his eating routine as well!

MILESTONES: Jibber jabbers a lot these days! Sometimes very loud. He gets that from me.  Rolling all over the place. I think it is quite the effort since he is such a tank. Great at sitting until he reaches for something, ending in an unfortunate face plant. Still just has his bottom two teeth. I love when he flashes a grin my way and I spot his two little pearlies! I am pretty positive I can feel some top front teeth coming in. Sometimes he will get a hold of your finger and chomp down before you've realized what is going on. Those little knives will get you good! We transitioned him to a big convertible car seat. I held onto his infant car seat as longs as possible. We pretty much needed a crane to lift that thing and he was at the size limit. Also starting to get up on his hands and knees and rock. In denial that he will be crawling anytime soon. Starting to take notice when I leave the room. Will arch his back and entire body till he can locate me.

LOVES:
To get a hold of any and all hair and will death grip it and not let go.
Sophie (my parent's dog) was his latest casualty. He got a hold of her tiny pony tail and would not let go. Pretty sure it traumatized her.
Loves books. He would rather eat them than read them.
When Pop gets home from work.
To watch other little kids and dogs run around.
Tickles.
When I sneeze. If it doesn't scare him, he finds it hilarious.
To pull blankets over his head. This one is oh so fun for me. I have to watch him like a hawk. He gets the biggest grin when he can get it over is face. Little turkey.
Remotes.
Watching candles burn. He goes into a trance.
Bath time.
Christmas trees.
