We just returned from a trip to the happiest place on earth with our sweet friends, Erin and Travis.

I'm sure I ate more in 4 days than I have in the past month.

Not mad about it. 

I enjoyed every savory bite I took into Mickey's fudge popsicle head.

a day on temple square.

Dallin and I met up for a tour and lunch on Temple Square today. 

His grandma gives tours on Tuesday mornings inside the church office building.

She has been begging us to come down and see her so she can show us around.

I loved every second we spent on the grounds. 

She told us the most spiritual and interesting stories.

I felt so tingly inside. 

After the tour, we met up with D's grandpa and they took us to lunch at The Garden.

It was so fun for me to get to know them a little bit more and learn about their lives.

Family is the best.

shogun

Shogun is a little hole-in-the-wall Japanese restaurant in Salt Lake.

When we were little kids, my parents would take us downtown and we would eat their delicious katsu don.

On Friday night, D and I got the chance to venture to Shogun with my family.  

It was Dallin's first time.

He loved it.

My favorite part is that we get to sit on cushions on the floor and we put our feet in the slots under the table.

Yes please.

It's that time of year again...

Boo Berry and Franken Berry season.

Oh just some delicious berry and strawberry cereal with spooky-fun marshmallows.

This delectable breakfast treat is sold only through the Halloween time period.

We stock up with more boxes than I'd like to admit, to last us for a great amount of time.

Dallin introduced to me to this wonder cereal last year, and I'm still thanking him.

Last night on our grocery run, we loaded up.

Hence...
