25 weeks

HOW FAR: 25 weeks

BABY IS THE SIZE OF: an acorn squash

MATERNITY CLOTHES: I'm all about the comfort up in here. My skirts and most of my dresses are just not cutting it anymore. Maxi skirts holla! Still rocking the maternity jeans and genie pants (that's what I call them) with the stretch-i-licious waistband.

MOVEMENT: I joke that he is in there doing back-flips. Probably just in there moving around the couch. I sure fancy every poke and kick.

BEST MOMENT OF THE WEEK: I've held off buying much of anything for little Finnsters. Finally bit the bullet and bought him an outfit. 70% off is my kind of language when it comes to miniature sized clothing. I catch myself staring at it daily!

MISS ANYTHING: Not being a mouth breather:) The other day at work, I got off a call and felt like I just ran around the block. Embarrassing amounts of heavy breath due to lifting a pencil.

FOOD CRAVINGS: No more hot dogs. I love the peanut butter cookies from swig as of late. But I really think my obsession would exist without pregnancy. I'm a treat monger.

ANYTHING MAKE YOU QUEASY: Still not much. If anything, my nostrils are that of a hound. I can pick up a good/bad scent a mile away it seems.

AM I SHOWING: Check out the bowling ball proof in picture above.

LOOKING FORWARD TO: Our next doctors appointment in about a week. I live for them!

22 weeks

HOW FAR: 22 weeks

BABY IS THE SIZE OF: an ear of corn

MATERNITY CLOTHES: Same as last update. I pretty much only wear maternity pants and leggings now.

MOVEMENT: I can officially say that I am feelin' his kicks! It is one of the coolest things ever.

BEST MOMENT OF THE WEEK: Dallin felt a couple kicks two nights ago. So surreal.

MISS ANYTHING: (TMI warning) I sort of have to wear a bra now. I used to be able to get away with not wearing one all the time. Judge me. I totally do/should now. Those sisters need some control!

FOOD CRAVINGS: Sadly enough...corn dogs totally hit the spot. The crave is real.

ANYTHING MAKE YOU QUEASY: Still not a problem!

AM I SHOWING: Totally.

LOOKING FORWARD TO: The belly expansion and continued kicks!

night at the aquarium

Dallin has been patiently asking for months if we could visit the new Living Planet Aquarium in Draper.
Thursday night, D came home early from work so we could have a decent amount of gawking time with the animals.

Of course, we loved the penguins and sharks.
I squirmed away from the lurking creepy crawly creatures.
We snuggled with some whales and ran away from the massive anaconda with beady eyes.

(We both ripped a groin muscle getting on that bad boy.)

A couple of nights ago I had a crazy dream where I was fishing with my family and reeled in a baby killer whale.
No big deal.
Don't worry, we caught and released.

Glad we finally had the chance to visit such a neat place, practically in our backyard!

only my very favorite Bingham swimmer

So Ryker is a sophomore on the Bingham swim team this year.
Oh how I loved attending his meets the last few months!
It is quite nostalgic to see him swim in the same horrid pool I lived in for +4 years.
He swims a lot of the same events that I did back in the day, but he is much faster!
I'm super proud of him and the amazing season he triumphed.

I cannot wait to watch him in his junior and senior years.
Love ya Ryka!
