Noviembre

Earlier this month, Dallin had the chance to baptize his little brother Aiden.
It was such a touching and intimate morning.
Aiden had a smile on his face all day.
Dallin's stepmom told us that he told his friends that his "giant" brother was going to baptize him.
I knew that D was nervous, but he did such a great job on his baptism and ordination.
I love seeing him honor his priesthood.
It was a very special day for us.

Then on the 13th of this month, Dallin turned 24!
We celebrated with my parents the night before and his mom the day after.
The night of his actual birthday we had a baby dinner with a few loved individuals.

(can you tell that Jacks likes to snuggle up to Dallin?)

Then a week later on the 20th we celebrated our 2nd anniversary.
Time sure does fly.
It feels like just yesterday that we were giddy at the temple.
Yet, sometimes it feels like we've been married much longer than just 2 measly years!

I love this hardworking, loyal, caring, hilarious, loving, smart, spiritual, trustworthy, and handsome man more than anything in my life.
I feel lucky to be his wife.

halloweenster

We had a great Halloween this year!
Ate more candy than we handed out.  (Mostly me.)
Made costumes last minute and struggled to get into the car with them on.
Went to a fantastic Halloween party at Mike's house.
Caught up with friends. Such a good time.

Squeezing ourselves into boxes is a pleasure.

Bunch of party animals and a Lego.

Sharesa and Ian had awesome costumes.
He was Clive Bigsby and she was Claire.
Reference to Modern Family.
Lets just hope she doesn't lose that coat :)

October

It is almost November.
This year is whisking right by.

Here is a few bits from the month.

Jackson is enjoying a new school this year.
Both little brothers joined the swim team.
Proud moment.

I found him like this.
Lounging by the pumpkins from his garden.

We're officially the same height.
Not so little anymore.

Court came to visit us a couple weekends ago.
We simply adore her.

Come back soon Courtney!

Also. I debated on posting these.
Embarrassing is an understatement.

The other night D and I were getting ready for bed.
For some reason Dallin gets a kick out of me face-planting into things.
How nice.

So. Naturally, we started videoing each other face-planting into our mattress.
We're normal.

The best part for us is to re-watch them and laugh.

September

We've been up to just a bit this month.

My cousin left on a mission to South Korea about a week ago.
Before he left, we had the chance to make a trip up to the cabin with my family and Marissa and Chase.
Lots of card games and food enjoyed by all.
We then went out to Roosevelt for Spencer's farewell.
He is such a sweetheart and will be an amazing missionary.

Too cheesy? I'll allow it.

And I can't forget that I was reunited with Courtney!
She just got home from her mission in France.
I completely adore her.

It's that time of year again folks.
Boo berry and Franken berry are starting to grace the shelves.
I honestly couldn't believe D only purchased 2 boxes.
Christmas morning for this man.

We've done a little baby bit of yard work around the place.
My parents and brothers have been incredible in helping us out.
They are so willing and helpful. We love you guys.

I had to visit the Springville Art Museum for one of my classes.
Dallin and I loved it.
It also happens to be the location of my parent's reception.

And lastly, Monday was my 23rd birthday.
I had a wonderful day and felt so much love and kindness.
My very favorite was waking up to my husband sweating away in the kitchen to make me the best breakfast.
Couldn't have asked for a titch more.

Thank you so much to my family and friends who made it a wonderful day and year!

home to call ours

We are homeowners.
It has got to be the best feeling.
A new adventure awaits us, and boy is it thrilling.

Mowing a lawn never felt so good.

We feel so blessed.

birthdays and cabin time

On July 19th my baby brother turned 10.
He got a brand new bike, and we celebrated the day with homemade pizza and cake.

He is such a good boy.

Just a few days later, we celebrated my dad's birthday on the 24th up at the cabin.

We went night fishing and had such a good time on the party barge.
My dad is the kindest most hard-working man I know.
Love you dad.

And trips up to the cabin wouldn't be near as sweet without this lady's delicious cooking.
She takes such good care of us.

This picture has a story behind it.
About 10 or so years ago, my dad and I were on a four-wheeler ride around Pine Hollow.
We rounded this very corner and I kid you not saw the strangest animal/thing I have ever seen.
It was bonkers.
It looked like a deer/kangaroo/giant rabbit thing.
I'd say it was 5 1/2 to 6 feet tall.
We stopped. We stared at it. It stared back.
And it turned and hopped away on it's hind legs.
My dad and I both thought we were seeing things.
People say jackalopes don't exist.
Well this thing looked like a jackalope giant.
To this day. No one. Believes us.
Thank heavens we were together to back up one another.

We swear it happened.
In this very spot.

Later that week we hit up a family reunion dinner in Heber at my great uncle Moroni's barn.
It was really nice to see family members that we don't see too often.
We took time out to have a serious moment in front of the cows.

The very next weekend we traveled up to the cabin again.
Can't keep us away.
Went fishing, and had a blast.
Nothing better than having two fish on lines at the same time.
The perfect amount of mayhem.

Jackson managed to catch a craw-dad among his many fish.
And we attempted to play crack the egg with Dallin.
We failed.
He is a solid egg.

Moab

In the last part of June, we had the chance to go down to Moab for the Ross family reunion.
I was especially eager because I had never been before.
We had such a great time spent with family, eating, playing games, swimming, hiking, and basking in the sun.

My parents were in charge of the reunion this time.
They did a terrific job.

I can't get over Arches.
It is chuck full of things to see.

Even little Gabe did some hiking.

Ryker was on cloud nine.
Jumping from rock to rock and scaling mountains.

I can't wait to go back!

back in action

Catch up time.

We took a cabin trip with Ian and Sharesa a few weeks ago.
They are completely hilarious, and we always have such a fantastic time with them.

A few days later we celebrated Father's Day.
I love my dad so dang much.
He is a superb example to us and such a kind and loving man.
My mom made a delicious dinner and it was fun to frolic together again with Lacey, Phil, and Gabe.

On June 23rd we had the opportunity to attend Dallin's uncle and aunt's sealing in the Logan Temple.
I loved every second of it.

It was such a sweet and beautiful day.

Phil and Lacey were sweeties and invited us to a Bees Game a few weeks ago.
It was a lovely night and we more than enjoyed their company.
They went back to Missouri last week, and I will miss them so much!

It's been a blast having them in Utah.
