We joined the the crowd and visited the much talked about Ice Castles in Midway.

They were even better than we expected.

It's mush and gush to admit, but I really enjoyed the quiet much needed car-ride up with Dallin.

Aside from my awe of the beauty around me, I regretted my low-cut boot choice.

My ankles were frozen knobs by the end of our walk-through.

Noted.

This hunk of love just melting the ice with his smolder.

Too much? Will he kill me for saying this?

Next.

Had a wonderful time.

We need some vitamin d in our life.

Haven't seen Frozen yet.

But I thought I'd get a picture with him anyway.

I just barely thawed from this trip, but I'm so glad we went!

Our conversation last night at approx. 10:30 pm:

Me: "D I need a late night snack." (Perusing the cupboard)

Dallin: "Oh me too. What you thinking?"

Me: "Probably some cheese and crackers." 

Dallin: "I think I'll have a jolly rancher." (dead serious)

I just stared.

And that's what he did.

Filled up on a single jolly.

Our holiday happenings were excellent this year. 

Had a few unwelcome illnesses crash the party, but we made it through unharmed.

Phil, Lacey, and the kids joined us.

Family parties, dinners, and singing took place.
Grateful for the opportunity to focus on the Savior, and the reason for the season.
