blessed

I had a wonderful birthday.
My family, husband, and friends spoiled me rotten.
I feel so blessed and loved.

Thank you all.
I adore you.

discovery

I was doing some cleaning the other day.
During the process, I found one of D's dirty little secrets.

Moved a lamp by our bed, to vacuum behind it and discovered this ^.
A mountainous pile of contacts.

He wears dailies contacts that can be thrown away after a one day use.
Apparently, he takes them out in bed and just casually drops them to the floor.
Are you kidding?
I found hundreds of those little buggers.
The little bum.

great day for one great couple

Erin and Travis got hitchity hitched.
We are unbelievably happy for this bundle of cuties.
What a beautiful day.

give me a break. give me a break.

Break me off a piece of that kit kat bar.

On one of our recent shopping trips, I stumbled upon a bin of $1 candy selections.
I couldn't help myself.
Snagged up some delectable kit kats for future enjoyment.

A few nights ago, I felt like a late night snack.
Which isn't unusual.
I grabbed a kat and sat on our bed to talk to Dallin.
He had taken out his contacts and when that happens, he is basically blind.
I took my first bite and made a huge crunch sound.

Dallin: "What is that?  Sounds like an apple. But smells like a kit kat."

Don't know why we found this so funny.
We laughed for a good 5 minutes.

big appetite.

Stole Dallin away from work to go to lunch at Chilis.
^ This showed up on my plate times 5.
Anyone who eats with me knows I struggle to finish half my plate.
I'm pretty sure the chicken crispers they gave me could feed a country.

Note to self: Share with Dallin next lunch.

not so little anymore

I turned around and this boy is not so little anymore.
He can almost say he's taller than me.
He started middle school.
He doesn't play with friends anymore. He hangs.
He jumps over fences, and climbs on the roof.
He has a phone.
And he passes the sacrament.

I'm so proud of him.
He is the most mellow kid I know.
I honestly don't know how we are siblings.
He doesn't ever fight with Jackson, and never gets in trouble.

Before we know it, he'll be driving.
Cuhrazy.

I sure do love him.
I also love the fact that he gives me a big hug whenever I see him.
Hope that lasts awhile.
