thank heavens for weekends

This past week was a cuhrazy one.
I am thanking my lucky stars for such a supportive and loving husband.
He may or may not have put up with a few break-downs and made everything seem alright.
I'm now officially working as a server at Reddy Rob.
I feel blessed to have a job and work with such fun people.

On Saturday, Dallin and I went to hit a bucket of balls at Glenmore.
This boy loves him some golf.

We also got to spend some time up at my family's cabin over the holiday.
It was beyond freezing cold, but I loved that we could stay inside next to the hot stove and watch some movies all snuggled up and play games with the family.

Life is good.

rain rain go away

I am so tired of this poop rainy weather.
Hopefully, by the end of the week the temperatures will start to warm up.

We did get a baby bit of sunshine this weekend and it greatly lifted my spirits.

My parents opened up their pool. So, on Saturday night I spent some time watching my little brothers swim and went on a walk with Lacey and Gabesters.

He loves sucking on every single finger at the same time.
I am constantly tempted to kiss his cheeks every five seconds.

He is such a happy babe.

This week I'm starting something new, and hoping that it all works out!!

ping to the pong

I've realized that we go through little spurts of obsessions.
A few months ago: bowling.
Now: ping pong.
We hardly ever go bowling anymore, and now Dallin makes up excuses to go over to my parent's house to squeeze in some games of ping pong.

My family all has some serious game.
Me? Not so much. I struggle.

In fact, everyone was trying to work with me on my technique the other night and they all just laughed thee entire time.
Dallin says my arms look like twisted little baby t-rex arms when I serve it.
His impression of me trying to hit the ball is quite laughable.
I'll get it. I hope.

Dallin and Nick.

Dallin

On another note. I can't wait to see this girl in a little while! Thrilled to pieces.

family and ping pong

This weekend was superb.

Spent a lot of time with my and Dallin's family.
The weather was nice. (most of the time)

We also thoroughly enjoyed my parent's new ping pong table.
I hope to improve my game.
My lack of talent and skill at the moment is a tad sad.

On to a new week!

Honey, I knew we left our yacht somewhere...

In Mexico, we stayed right next to the marina that housed many massive yachts.
About our third day into the trip we stumbled upon this beauty.

If you can see, the yacht behind Dallin has a helicopter lurking on its' backside.
Um. What?
Dallin was so excited.
He stared at it all during lunch.
The picture doesn't do it's size justice.
It was massive.
We tried to imagine who owned it, and what they must do for a living.
I was secretly hoping it was Will and Kate on their honeymoon.
Their yacht is probably bigger.

I have a lotta love for my momma.
I feel so lucky to have her as my mom.

Thank you mom for the many late nights you stayed up with me and helped me with homework and projects.
Thank you mom for teaching me how to really clean.
Thank you mom for preparing countless delicious meals for our family. Hopefully I can be the cook you are someday.
Thank you mom for sharing your shoes and jewelry with me. Oh and perfume.
Thank you mom for playing the piano with so much love and talent.
Thank you mom for snuggling with us when we needed a hug and just because that's what you do.
Thank you mom for making every dream for my wedding come true.
Thank you mom for loving (and hugging) Dallin since the moment you met him.
Thank you mom for teaching me how to be competitive.
