11 months

AGE: 11 months

WEIGHT: Still 24 lbs.

SIZE: Still rocking 18-24 month clothing and size 4-5 diapers. Some 24 month clothing.

HAIR: It is getting lighter and lighter every day!

SLEEPING: He had an ear infection 2 weeks ago that jacked his sleeping up a bit. He is mostly back to his schedule. Still will wakes up between 5-6 am for a bottle and goes back to sleep until 8-8:30.

EATING: Eats almost every solid we give him. Still the most distracted bottle drinker. On to real milk next month. WAHOO! Hasta la vista formula! Good riddance ya money sucker.

MILESTONES: Has learned how to open the toilet lid and flush. Fantastic. Have to watch him like a hawk. Along with those bathroom skills--he has found his passion in unwinding every last drop of toilet paper. Says "ma ma" ALL the time. D doesn't think he has associated me with it. I beg to differ. He walks like a champion between us. Will take up to 15 FAST steps. He so badly just wants to run and loses his balance. Mimics a lot of what we do. Example: If one of us is laughing he will start to fake laugh. Shakes his head from side to side. Actually waving now instead of just raising his arm in the air. Has the motion down. FINALLY starting to hold his bottle, sometimes. Still too distracted to actually hold it every time. Takes lids off of everything. It's all I can do to keep him from eating lotion. Detests getting his diaper changed. It is like wrangling a wriggly wild animal. Rips everything up. Got to a pile of my Ensigns the other day and before I knew it, they were ripped to shreds. Sticking to cardboard books for now. Very vocal and talkative.

LOVES:

to sit at the open front door and stare outside.
to take out all of toys right after they've been cleaned up.
the tupperware lid drawer.
tearing paper and attempting to eat it.
when I go downstairs to do laundry, he will stand at the top of the stairs and flap his arms until I come back upstairs.
to watch Dallin mow the lawn.
to watch me vacuum.
to snuggle with his Star Wars blanket, when he is tired.
to drink from a real cup.
standing next to the tub when it fills up and splashing in the water.
being outside.
to put his forehead against our forehead when he wakes up.
snacks of any kind.
to rock back and forth to music.
to pull the plug out of the outlet when I am trying to vacuum. It is a struggle.

FUNNY MOMENTS: He has been the biggest flirt lately anywhere we go. Whether it be to a restaurant or store, he will lock eyes with a complete stranger (usually a woman) and grin from ear to ear. Most of the time he'll even flash the creeper smile.

The creeper smile in full effect.

The creeper smile once again.

His ear infection was brutal. Had super high fevers for a couple of days. The worst was trying to give him medicine. It was a two man job and he got really good at spitting it out, even with all of the doctor's suggestions. Glad that is over!

One of my dad's best friends has baby chicks. If it were up to Finn he probably would have grabbed it and accidentally snapped its neck. I had to guide his petting technique :)

I am in denial that my baby is almost 1!
