last smidgen of 2012

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas!
We went to three delicious dinners on Thanksgiving day.
Hung out with Dan, D's dear friend who lives in California.
Welcomed home a plethora of missionaries!
Andy and Brooke are both home from Seattle and Uruguay.
My adorable friend McCall was called to New Mexico.

Geoff, Dan, and Dallin bonded while they did some planking. Multi-taskers.

Back together again.

She leaves this month and will be a fantastic missionary!

Phil and Lacey had a new addition on November 5th!
Her name is Rubi and I'm so in love.
We officially got to meet her when Phil and Lace came into town for Christmas.

We got asked to speak in our ward at the beginning of December.
Our ward has been so welcoming.
We were showered with cookies and kindness from the moment we moved in.
The more we live in our home, the more I am reassured that we are meant to be here. We've been immensely blessed in countless ways.

Mike threw his annual ugly sweater party, and we had a blast.
He is so incredible to do these things for our friends.

I've loved catching up with Brooke before she moves back to Logan.

Megan officially lives in Utah now!
Cafe Rio and muddy buddies never tasted better.

I finished finals for Fall semester the second week of December.
Everything went well and I couldn't have done it without Dallin's help, support, and flash card quizzing.

We went to dinner down at Z Tejas with Dallin's mom, Todd, Megan, and her boyfriend.
It was delicious and we enjoyed the festive feeling of downtown.

Phil, Lacey, Gabe, and Rubi came into town a few days before Christmas.
It's always so exciting when they visit.
Even better when you have a new niece to canoodle.

My mom had her annual Phillip's Christmas Party.
We ate so much food, sang and exchanged white elephant gifts.

We also had the chance to go to dinner and The Hobbit with Dallin's dad's family.
It was really fun to exchange gifts and see their new basketball gym they built in the backyard.

On Christmas Eve we had the annual feast at my parent's house with Greg, Lisa, my grandma, Jaclyn and our family.
We sang, watched the Nativity movie, exchanged gifts with Phil and Lacey, and rounded out the night with Christmas Vacation.
Thank you mom and dad for always making Christmas eve so special and fun.

Christmas Day we woke up, opened presents, watched Pitch Perfect with Dallin, and my mom made a delicious breakfast.
We are so thankful for the wonderful gifts and loved watching my brothers open their presents.

Later on in the day we went over to D's mom's house and exchanged gifts with her and Todd.
Devyn gave us SO much candy. It may or may not be almost finished off.
Can't help it.

We then went to Dallin's aunt's for dinner and ate yet again.

I am so grateful for my Savior and the chance we have to celebrate his birth and life in the month of December.
Dallin and I are blessed beyond measure and loved spending so much time with family over the break.
